Commercial real estate powerhouse Raine & Horne Commercial WA proved the big winner as leading Australasian real estate group Raine & Horne’s awards season launched in earnest in Perth on Saturday evening.
Held at stylish and vibrant QT Perth, the event brought together principals, agents and support teams from across the group’s WA network to recognise the leading offices, sales agents, property managers and administrative staff driving results across the state’s residential, rural and commercial property markets in 2025.
In a significant coup for the group’s commercial real estate activities in WA, Raine & Horne Commercial WA, led by leading Perth commercial property ace Anthony Vulinovich, a regular winner of Raine & Horne’s national awards, secured Top Office honours for both Sales Gross Commission Income (GCI) and Number of Sales Transactions.
The commercial office powerhouse finished ahead of residential and rural specialist Raine & Horne Great Southern, led by John Hetherington, which placed second in both categories, while rural heavyweight Raine & Horne Rural WA, with principal Gerald Wetherall at the helm, secured third place in each ranking.
Mr Vulinovich also scored first in the Top Commercial Salesperson for the Highest Commercial Property Sales Transaction category. Raine & Horne Commercial WA’s sales agent, Jack Divitini, also enjoyed an excellent night, scoring first in the Top Commercial Salesperson categories for Sales GCI and Number of Sales Transactions. His colleague Daniel Romeo won Top Commercial Leasing Agent (Leasing Dollar Value), and Matthew Edwards won Top Commercial Leasing Agent for Number of Leasing Transactions.
In the duel for Top Rural Office, Raine & Horne Great Southern pipped Raine & Horne Rural WA, while Mr Hetherington and his team landed the award for Top Rural Office Largest Sale/Auction for the $13 million sale of a 3,438-acre mixed farming property at 2577 Gnowangerup-Tambellup Road, Dartnall.
Angus Raine, Executive Chairman, Raine & Horne, said the start of the awards calendar for the 143-year-old real estate group is an important opportunity to acknowledge excellence across the iconic real estate brand’s state and territory networks.
“Our awards season is about recognising the professionals and offices who consistently deliver exceptional outcomes for their clients and communities,” Mr Raine said.
“It also reinforces the strength of our network and the momentum we are building nationally.”
Chris Nicholl, CEO of Raine & Horne, said the Western Australian awards event highlighted the depth of talent and leadership within the state.
“Western Australia continues to produce outstanding performers such as Anthony Vulinovich, John Hetherington and Gerald Weatherall, and these awards recognise the people and teams behind that success,” Mr Nicholl said.
Among the major individual honours, Brett Lukey from Raine & Horne Great Southern took out Top Salesperson Sales GCI, with Dannielle Keatley of Raine & Horne Rural WA named Top Salesperson for Number of Sales Transactions.
In the Top Principal category for Sales GCI, Anthony Vulinovich of Raine & Horne Commercial WA secured first place, ahead of John Hetherington of Raine & Horne Great Southern in second and Peter Vetten of Raine & Horne Mandurah in third.
Mr Vetten turned the tables in the Top Principal rankings for Number of Sales Transactions, beating home Mr Vulinovich and Michael Pileggi of Raine & Horne Midlands in third.
Rick Wang of Raine & Horne Landsdale was named Outstanding Property Manager (Residential), while Julie Hetherington of Raine & Horne Great Southern took out Top Business Development Manager. Raine & Horne Great Southern also secured the Outstanding Property Management Office (Small) award, and Raine & Horne Commercial WA was recognised as the Outstanding Property Management Office (Medium) in the commercial category.
The Western Australia awards mark the beginning of a broader national program of Raine & Horne events to be held across Australia and New Zealand in the coming months, starting with the Queensland Awards for Excellence on Saturday, 28 February in Brisbane.
