Leading Melbourne real estate firm Abercrombys has announced the appointment of  Walter Dodich and Ericka Wong, as the business expands its footprint into the Hawthorn  and surrounding suburbs luxury residential market.

Walter is one of Boroondara’s most experienced and respected agents, he brings more  than 30 years’ experience selling prestige homes across Hawthorn, Kew, Camberwell,  Canterbury and surrounding suburbs.

He is joined by Ericka Wong, who brings more than 20 years’ real estate experience and  has worked successfully alongside Dodich, most recently at Kay & Burton.

The appointments represent a significant step in Abercrombys’ continued growth strategy,  strengthening the agency’s presence in one of Melbourne’s most established and tightly  held premium markets.

Abercrombys CEO Sally O’Connell said the move into Hawthorn and surrounds is a  natural extension for the brand.

“Hawthorn and the broader Boroondara market have long been important to Abercrombys.  This is a market defined by beautiful family homes, architectural significance, strong  schools and deep client relationships, all of which align strongly with who we are as a  business,” Ms O’Connell said.

“Walter and Ericka bring exceptional market knowledge, professionalism and long standing client relationships. They are deeply experienced, highly trusted and strongly  aligned with the Abercrombys approach to premium property, thoughtful marketing and  enduring client care.”

Ms O’Connell said the appointments would support Abercrombys’ broader ambition to  grow in aligned luxury and lifestyle markets while maintaining its boutique positioning.

“Our growth is considered. We are not looking to be everywhere, we are focused on  markets where the Abercrombys brand has genuine relevance and where we believe we  can deliver real value to clients,” she said.

“Walter and Ericka will be instrumental in helping us build our presence across Hawthorn  and surrounds, and their experience will also be invaluable in supporting and mentoring  our emerging talent.”

Walter said he was looking forward to joining Abercrombys at an important stage in the  company’s growth.

“Abercrombys has a long-standing reputation for quality, integrity and excellence in the  luxury residential market”

“The opportunity to help grow the brand’s presence in Hawthorn and Boroondara is an  exciting one. It is a market I know deeply and care about, and I look forward to bringing my  experience and relationships to the Abercrombys team,” Mr Dodich said.

“Walter and I have worked together for many years. And over that time, we have helped  many clients, most of whom are repeat clients who we’ve built strong relationships with,  realise their real estate aspirations. We are proud of the fact they see us as their real  estate advisors, and we do not take that position lightly. We are very pleased to be joining  Abercrombys. The brand has a clear identity, a strong team and a genuine commitment to  premium service,” Ericka said.

“We are looking forward to working with Sally and the wider team as Abercrombys  continues to grow its presence in Hawthorn and surrounding suburbs.”

The appointments follow Abercrombys’ continued focus on expanding its reach in  Melbourne’s luxury, architectural and lifestyle property markets, while remaining true to the  boutique, relationship-led approach that has underpinned the business since 2005.
