Ayre Real Estate has strengthened its footprint across Sydney’s inner city through the acquisition of City Residential Property Surry Hills, in a move that unites two highly regarded agencies with a shared focus on apartment living.
Led by founder and director Adrian Wilson, Ayre Real Estate is known for its boutique expertise in the Sydney apartment market.
The strategic acquisition brings City Residential Property’s strong local reputation—particularly across Surry Hills, Darlinghurst, and Potts Point—under the Ayre banner.
“This collaboration is about combining strengths,” said Wilson.
“We’re welcoming a respected brand and its loyal client base into our network, and in doing so, reinforcing our commitment to providing exceptional service across Sydney’s most in-demand urban precincts.”
The new Surry Hills location will serve as a central hub for Ayre’s continued growth, extending coverage from Potts Point to Alexandria. Clients can expect a seamless integration, with an expanded team and greater on-the-ground support.
Craig Donohue, Principal and Director at Ayre, described the merger as a natural step forward:
“The inner east is a market we know intimately. With increasing demand for quality apartments, this move allows us to elevate our offering even further for both buyers and property owners.”
Kristian Nelson-Marshall, Director of City Residential Property, shared his optimism about the future.
“Ayre’s award-winning marketing, systems, and deep apartment knowledge will take what we’ve built and push it to the next level. It’s an exciting new chapter for our clients and team.”
This merger marks another milestone in Ayre Real Estate’s expansion journey—solidifying its status as a leading name in apartment sales and property management across Sydney’s most competitive city markets.
