Urban Real Estate appoints Katrina Tarrant as CEO to lead next phase of growth Urban Real Estate has announced the appointment of Katrina Tarrant as Chief Executive Officer, marking a significant milestone in the evolution of one of New South Wales’ fastest growing independent real estate groups.
The newly created CEO role reflects the scale and maturity the business has reached, with Urban now operating across 15 offices and supporting a high performing network of agents and property professionals.
Over the past two decades, Urban has quietly built a reputation for disciplined growth and operational excellence.
Supported by world class technology, structured systems and an integrated “paddock to PM” strategy that guides clients from land acquisition through to long term asset management, the business has developed a model designed for consistency, performance and scale.
Its expansion has been deliberate rather than opportunistic. In many ways, Urban represents real estate reimagined, combining modern infrastructure with strong local leadership to deliver repeatable results across both sales and property management. Katrina joins the group as one of the most respected leaders in the Australian property industry.
With more than 30 years’ experience, she has led large multi office networks, guided organisations through transformation and built high performance cultures that balance commercial discipline with a strong people focus.
Her appointment signals Urban’s intent to further strengthen leadership capability and position the business for its next phase of sustainable growth.
Founder Christopher Lowry will continue to work closely with Katrina on strategy, innovation and long-term expansion initiatives We’ve always focused on building strong foundations first, our people, systems and standards,” Lowry said.
“ Katrina brings the experience and leadership to help us scale what we’ve built with clarity and confidence. ”Katrina said she was drawn to the strength of the business model and the calibre of the team.
“What impressed me most is how intentionally this business has been built,” she said. “The technology, the processes and the leadership mindset are already strong. It’s a platform designed to perform.
My focus is supporting our people and creating the conditions where they can thrive.
” As Urban enters its next chapter, the group will focus on measured expansion and attracting ambitious, high calibre agents and property managers seeking a modern, well supported environment.
With this executive leadership now in place, Urban is positioned for its most ambitious phase yet.
