Lake Macquarie real estate professional Ty Zink has officially stepped into ownership of Ray White Caves Beach, ushering in a new chapter for the well-established coastal agency.
With over 10 years of experience across the region—including successful offices in Belmont and Swansea—Zink brings a deep understanding of the local market and a reputation built on integrity, consistency, and results.
Now at the helm of the five-person team, he says the move is a natural evolution in his career.
“Having grown up in Newcastle and worked across Lake Macquarie, I’ve always had a strong connection to this community,” Zink said.
“Caves Beach holds a special place in my journey—it’s where I made my first sale over a decade ago—so to now lead this office feels like things have come full circle.”
Located on the East Lake Macquarie coastline, Caves Beach continues to attract both families and downsizers seeking a laid-back yet sophisticated lifestyle.
From dramatic coastal caves and pristine surf beaches to quality cafés and boutique retailers, the area’s charm is undeniable. Zink notes that this unique mix of natural beauty and convenience has helped fuel its continued popularity among buyers.
Zink’s approach is grounded in strong values—treating people well, delivering on promises, and building relationships that last. “Most of my business comes from referrals, which is something I’m really proud of.
People know I do what I say I’ll do, and that’s why they come back—or send others my way.”
Outside of real estate, Zink is well-known in the performing arts world as a qualified tap teacher. His mother, Toni Zink, recently sold the renowned Bling Performing Arts School, a long-standing institution in Newcastle.
“Tap dancing taught me the value of timing and discipline. Real estate isn’t that different—you have to keep showing up, keep learning, and stay focused.”
The father of four also coaches junior soccer and actively supports community initiatives—values he brings into his business. “I’m big on work-life balance, not just for me but for the team. When people are supported and systems are clear, everyone performs at their best.”
The transition officially took place on 1 July, with Zink continuing day-to-day operations while bringing his personal brand of leadership and service excellence to the agency.
His team includes experienced sales consultant Alyta Brinkworth, property manager Rosie Porter, marketing coordinator Lara Elaco, administrator Errin Jane, and cadet salesperson Harry Taylor.
Ray White NSW CEO Tim Snell welcomed the appointment, describing Zink as a standout operator with proven results.
“Ty has consistently delivered premium outcomes in a competitive market,” Snell said. “His leadership, work ethic, and strong community presence make him the ideal person to take this business forward.”
Under Zink’s guidance, the Ray White Caves Beach office is set to strengthen its local presence and deliver even greater value to clients across the Lake Macquarie region.
