REMAX Leaders Gather at Annual Broker Summit

Over 40 attendees from across the REMAX network came together on the Gold Coast last week for REMAX Australia’s annual Broker Summit. The event provides business owners with the opportunity to connect, reflect and refocus on what matters most, to lead with consistency and clarity.

The event came at a valuable time as businesses navigate a transitional market, reinforcing the value of bringing leaders together to hear from industry experts and share knowledge, experiences and insights.

REMAX Australia managing director Joel Davoren shared that the event is one of the network’s most valued, giving business owners the opportunity to hear from leading speakers and be involved in meaningful conversations from like-minded professionals.

“The insights and energy from speakers are extremely considered for our group and this year we heard some inspiring and practical perspectives,” he said.

“Our brokers are the leaders within our organisation and understanding what is important, what is necessary and what is needed to lead within the current market is crucial when looking forward as a business owner.”

Attendees heard from an impressive lineup of industry leaders and experts across the two-day event. Renowned leadership mentor and high-performance coach Ben Crowe challenged business owners to confront challenges head-on, while Daniella Gri, Executive Director of Workplace Strategy and Design at TACTIC shared her belief that brilliance come from people and greatness is accelerated by environment. Rent roll broker Rob Honeycombe and Steve Marinucci, Founder of Marra Finance, joined Joel for an informative panel discussion, offering insight from their respected areas of expertise.

Day two continued Amanda Vaughn, Queensland State Director at Domain Group, sharing industry perspectives with the group, followed by respected business and economic reporter and Nine’s Finance Editor Chris Kohler sharing timely insights on what’s shaping the finance landscape and what is means for brokers. And finally, Hayley Van de Ven, CEO of REMAX The Limitless Group shared her fresh perspectives on leadership, negotiation and agent growth; Underpinning this is her belief that excellence is never accidental.

Attendees enjoyed a mix of business and social events, with Mr Davoren highlighting the importance of the conversations taking place beyond the formal agenda, reflecting on the strong culture of collaboration and support amongst the REMAX network.

The 2026 REMAX Boker Summit took place from October 18-20 at JW Marriott Gold Coast Resort and Spa.
