Leading real estate group Raine & Horne celebrated the outstanding 2025 achievements of its NSW and ACT network at its State Awards for Excellence on Saturday 21 March, with powerhouse offices Raine & Horne Double Bay | Bondi Beach and Raine & Horne Lower North Shore sharing the night’s major office honours.

The event, which already has a reputation for excellence, drew a record 650 attendees at Sydney’s iconic Hordern Pavilion. Last year’s awards night, themed Our Place In The Landscape 2025, won Best Corporate Event at the 2025 Australian Event Awards.

With the theme Above & Beyond, the 2026 NSW/ACT Awards embraced an aviation-inspired concept, with leading Australian comedian Rob Shehadie “piloting” the evening.

Raine & Horne’s Head of Events & Partnerships, Rodney Fitzgerald, said the concept was designed to match the ambition and momentum within the group.

The inspiration for this year’s awards night was to better reflect the energy and ambition of Raine & Horne truly going Above & Beyond, Fitzgerald said. I wanted to elevate the experience and make the recognition of our people to be more impactful and memorable.

Sky’s The Limit winners announced

In keeping with the aviation theme, four tickets on Qantas flight QF1 to Singapore were awarded as part of the super brand’s 2025 Sky’s The Limit incentive announced at the awards event, securing a deluxe three-day Singapore Study Tour valued at $10,000 each. The winners included Ben Pryor of Raine & Horne Mollymook | Milton for the highest number of residential listings and Alex Banning from Raine & Horne Lower North Shore for the number of residential auctions.

The commercial agents didn’t miss out, with Joe Burgun from Raine & Horne Commercial Dubbo winning a trip to Singapore as the leading commercial agent for appraisals, and Luke Horton of Raine & Horne Commercial Port Macquarie won for the most commercial listings.

Angus Raine, Executive Chairman of Raine & Horne, said the awards night was a fitting tribute to the people and offices driving the strength of the brand across NSW and the ACT, as it approaches 143 years since its founding by Tom Raine and Joseph Horne on 25 May 1883.

This year, the real estate group launched its new national summer campaign, We Said It Best, marking the permanent return of its long-standing tagline, We’ll Look After You.

“This is not a nostalgic moment – it’s a powerful and deliberate statement about who we are and what we stand for,” Mr Raine said.

“It’s a promise to our offices, and to the consumers they serve.”

Chris Nicholl, Chief Executive Officer of Raine & Horne, said the scale and energy of the awards event reflected the momentum across the network.

“There was a genuine air of excitement in the room, and we are a network that is in full alignment, and we are accelerating,” Mr Nicholl said.

“Our strategy through to 2030 - Align and Accelerate - is centred on one clear mission – to accelerate the success of every Raine & Horne office and the clients they serve.

“At its core, this strategy is about growth and performance. We’re working to position as many of our offices as possible in the top 5% of their local markets – and as many as we can in the top three in their markets.

“With record attendance, a fantastic venue and so many exceptional performances to recognise, this was a tremendous celebration of what our people and offices have achieved over the past 12 months.”
