Harcourts South Australia CEO, Heather Edwards, took a courageous leap of faith, skydiving from thousands of metres up to raise crucial funds for Puddle Jumpers Inc., a South Australian charity dedicated to supporting vulnerable children and families.

The fundraising event, "Jump for Puddle Jumpers," saw participants from several Harcourts SA offices, including host partner Harcourts Essential, take to the skies, and also take ‘The Leap’.

Wearing the Harcourts blue rosette, Ms Edwards (pictured) launched into free fall, embodying the company's commitment to community and charitable causes.

The initiative aims to provide essential support for Puddle Jumpers, a non-profit organisation that assists over 6,500 children, many of whom are in out-of-home care.

The charity offers vital services including food relief, mentorship, and opportunities for positive childhood experiences.

"I am thrilled to have done The Leap and support Puddle Jumpers and the incredible work they do for children in need.

It's a privilege to contribute to their mission of providing positive experiences and essential support," said Heather Edwards, CEO of Harcourts SA.

Alongside the CEO, a number of Harcourts team members also contributed and jumped.

Pauline Smith, Head of the Harcourts Foundation, which supported the event, echoed Ms Edwards’ sentiment, stating,

"This initiative reflects our commitment to making a positive impact in the communities we serve. We are proud to support causes that improve the lives of children and families."

“We are delighted to report that the collective raised amount was an incredible $10,902.”

The funds raised will directly contribute to programs like camps and sibling reunification events, allowing children to create positive memories and simply enjoy being kids.

A spokesperson for Puddle Jumpers Inc. highlighted the importance of these efforts: "The funds raised will help provide children with positive experiences, giving these kids the chance to simply be kids and create memories that matter."

"This event perfectly captures what we're about at Harcourts—being courageous, putting people first, and doing the right thing, all while having a bit of fun along the way.

Because sometimes making a serious impact requires – sometimes literally - taking a leap of faith,” concluded Ms Edwards.
