While industry professional Nichole Caple was supporting leading sales teams at one company, daughter Brooke Caple was carving out her own career path at another.
Cheering one another from the sidelines of their respective careers, the idea of coming together was an unexpected yet logical next step for both Nichole and Brooke.
That next step, however, was an idea met with resistance. At first, it was just the two of them backing each other.
“We realised that, with our strengths, we could work together to build something special. Individually, we were both reaching our goals, but we knew together we could create something impactful,” Brooke said.
“At the time, we were both with separate agencies and, to be honest, there was a lot of resistance to the idea of us working together as a team, it wasn’t seen as a successful move.”
Brooke and Nichole disagreed.
With no back-up plan, they took a leap of faith in launching their joint venture, with Taylah later joining the Caple Properties team.
“We’d built something strong, but we hit a glass ceiling where we were and shortly afterwards joined REMAX.”
For Brooke and Taylah, stepping into careers in real estate wasn’t so much a decision as a natural transition into something they already felt comfortable with.
“We moved quite a bit growing up, so experiencing property sales from that perspective, along with just being around the industry with Mum’s work, meant it was always part of our lives and something we felt we wanted to do,” Brooke recalls.
Nichole says their family dynamic and unwavering support for one another is behind their successes.
“We look after our clients our way, and that approach comes from a real love for property, but it is also shaped by experiences we’ve had in the past buying, flipping and selling 12 properties,” said Nichole.
“We have a really strong understanding of each other and complement each other in so many ways, and that’s a real advantage for our clients.
“We have our own strengths and stay in our lanes, but we share a determination and belief that ‘no’ doesn’t exist and that is at the heart of our success working together.”
Nichole and her daughters, Brooke and Taylah, are the team behind Caple Properties, operating out of Brisbane’s REMAX Bayside office.
