While the overall winner remains a closely guarded secret until the REIT Awards dinner in October, today's brilliant result guarantees Max a place in the next round. He will proudly represent Tasmania at the prestigious AUSTROS championships in Melbourne this May.
Securing a top spot in the REIT competition—an organisation representing over 170 real estate professionals across the state—is no small feat. As the reigning champion of last year's Novice Auction Competition, Max has once again proven his exceptional skill on the auction floor.
Reflecting on the event, Max shared his enthusiasm: "It's always a nerve-wracking and extremely fun experience getting up to do an auction comp, but never a wasted experience. It was fantastic to see an increase in competitors. I love auctioning and hope that Tasmania gets on board with the process in the not-too-distant future."

He later earned a Bachelor of Communication and Media from the University of Notre Dame in Sydney.
