A combined team from Harcourts Residential and Lifestyle and Detector Inspector, known informally as “The Lifestyle x DI Crew” has taken out top honours at the 2026 Harcourts Foundation Charity Golf Day, with the event once again delivering on its promise of great competition, strong industry connections and meaningful fundraising.

Played in a four-ball Ambrose format, the winning team of Shaun Clayton and Colin Bowman from Harcourts Residential and Lifestyle, alongside Alex Collins and Chloe Purll from Detector Inspector, carded an impressive 53.00 to claim the title.

For Chloe Purll, Business Development Manager at Detector Inspector, the winning formula was simple.

"From our perspective, it came down to strong teamwork, communication and consistency," Ms Purll said.

"We had a great mix of strengths across the group, from a day one beginner to a 16 handicap, and we focused on playing to those strengths while keeping the day enjoyable and collaborative."

While there were plenty of memorable moments throughout the round, Ms Purll admitted not every shot went exactly to plan.

"Sinking a long putt under pressure was definitely a highlight," she said.

"Each of us had some astounding drives, along with a few that found the water or trees – thank goodness for Ambrose."

More importantly, the event brought together Harcourts offices and valued business partners in support of this year's beneficiary, Orange Sky.

"At Detector Inspector, supporting the communities we operate in is a core part of what we do," Ms Purll said.

"Being involved in an event backing Orange Sky and their incredible work made the day even more meaningful beyond the golf itself."

She described the atmosphere as one of the day's standout features.

"It was a great mix of professionalism, community spirit and friendly competition. It's events like these that reflect the strength of industry partnerships and shared purpose."

The success of the day was made possible through the support of major sponsors Kolmeo and AML Hub, whose partnership helped deliver another memorable event for the Harcourts Foundation and its supporters.

Following the presentation of trophies, attention turned to another highlight of the day – the charity auction.

Conducted by Harcourts Victoria CEO Adam Fiteni for the second consecutive year, the auction helped lift the two-year fundraising tally from the auction component alone to almost $10,000.

"The Harcourts Foundation Golf Day has quickly become one of my favourite events on the calendar," Mr Fiteni said.

"To see it grow from its inaugural year to another hugely successful event this year is something everyone involved should be proud of."

"For me personally, having the opportunity to conduct the charity auction at the end of the day for the second year running is a real privilege. I love being able to combine what I do with something that makes a genuine difference."

"Seeing our network come together, dig deep and raise much-needed funds for the Harcourts Foundation is incredibly rewarding. The auction has raised nearly $10,000 in the two years."

"The Foundation does amazing work supporting communities and people in need, and to play even a small part in helping raise funds for such an important cause is something I truly value. Here's to another fantastic year and hopefully many more to come."

While Shaun, Colin, Alex and Chloe took home the winner's trophy, the real success of the Harcourts Foundation Charity Golf Day was measured in the generosity of those involved and the impact the funds raised will have on the communities the Foundation supports.
