The phones are charged, the scripts are ready and the friendly rivalry is heating up.

For the first time ever, Harcourts Australia and Harcourts New Zealand will go head-to-head in Dial Hard 2—the ultimate Trans-Tasman appraisal drive designed to build momentum, sharpen prospecting skills and determine once and for all who can claim the ultimate bragging rights.

On Tuesday, 28 July, from 11.00am to 2.00pm (AEST), sales and property management teams across both countries will compete to book as many appraisals as possible during the three-hour challenge.

While Australia returns to defend its home turf, this marks New Zealand's first-ever Dial Hard, adding an exciting new dimension to the competition.

CEO of Harcourts Australia, Adrian Knowles, said Dial Hard had become one of the network's most anticipated events because it combined learning with healthy competition.

"Dial Hard creates incredible energy across our network, but it's about much more than making calls," Mr Knowles said.

"The work you put into your pipeline now can make all the difference when the spring market arrives. Every conversation you have today has the potential to become tomorrow's appraisal, listing or referral. That's why events like Dial Hard are so valuable."

"Adding New Zealand into the competition for the first time makes it even more exciting. There's always been a healthy rivalry between our two countries, and I know our Australian teams will be doing everything they can to keep the bragging rights on this side of the Tasman."

Managing Director of Harcourts New Zealand, Bryan Thomson, said his teams were ready to embrace the challenge.

"This might be New Zealand's first Dial Hard, but don't mistake that for inexperience," Mr Thomson said.

"Our teams are excited to be part of the challenge and are ready to show Australia exactly what we can do.

Friendly competition is a fantastic motivator, and we're looking forward to making our mark from day one."

Whether a seasoned prospector or making that first appraisal call, Dial Hard 2 is designed to create momentum, strengthen prospecting skills and demonstrate that consistent conversations create consistent results.

Most importantly, it's an opportunity to build a stronger pipeline ahead of the busy spring selling season—while enjoying a little Trans-Tasman rivalry along the way.

Come 28 July, there'll be just one question left to answer…

Will Australia defend its title, or will New Zealand make a winning debut?

    Game on.
