Experienced sales agent makes the move to Harcourts Adelaide Hills, putting people, culture and a more personal measure of success at the centre of her next chapter
Experienced Adelaide Hills real estate agent Nicole Walker has joined Harcourts Adelaide Hills, bringing nearly a decade of experience selling homes across the region and a strong belief that the best results begin with genuine care for people.
Nicole has built her career around helping people achieve their property goals, with an approach grounded in honesty, clear communication and putting clients first.
“People don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care,” Nicole said.
“That’s something I’ve always believed in. I want people to feel comfortable coming to me, knowing they’ll get honest advice, clear information and someone who genuinely has their best interests at heart.”
The move to Harcourts was driven by Nicole’s respect for the people and culture behind the Adelaide Hills business. She said business owners Kim and Trent had always stood out for their kindness, integrity and genuine care for their people.
“From the moment I met with them, I felt comfortable and at home, and I knew it was the right fit for me,” she said.
The decision also reflects a shift in how Nicole views professional success. Despite previously reaching the top of her state’s sales and commission rankings, she said the experience left her questioning a culture where achievement could feel defined by a number.
“I’ve been at the top of the sales and commission ladder, and I was miserable,” Nicole said.
“I had come to feel that success was only measured by a number, and that you weren’t successful unless that number was one.
“Since joining Harcourts, I honestly don’t think I’ve been this happy in a very long time. Maybe success can be measured by both what I achieve and how happy I am along the way.”
Heather Edwards, CEO of Harcourts South Australia, said Nicole’s appointment was a welcome addition to the Adelaide Hills team.
“Nicole brings valuable experience in the Adelaide Hills market, along with a clear commitment to putting people first. Her approach to real estate aligns strongly with the culture we want to build at Harcourts — one where success is measured not only by results, but by the relationships we create and the experience we deliver for our clients.
“We’re delighted to welcome Nicole to Harcourts and look forward to seeing her continue to grow her business with the support of the Adelaide Hills team.”
Away from real estate, Nicole’s priorities are firmly centred on family and making the most of time with the people who matter most. She is also devoted to her bulldog, Lola, and enjoys golf, even if she jokes that the feeling isn’t always mutual.
For Nicole, this next chapter is about continuing to do what she loves, helping people navigate important property decisions while building a career that feels as rewarding personally as it is professionally.
