Harcourts has strengthened its property management support team with the appointment of Alessandra Knez as Property Operations Manager for Harcourts Victoria and Harcourts SA.
With 15 years of experience in real estate, Alessandra has built her career in property management, developing extensive experience across operations, leadership and team development. She was recognised as Property Management of the Year in both 2025 and 2026, an achievement she credits to the teams and clients behind those results.
Alongside her real estate experience, Alessandra is a certified life and mindset coach, breathwork practitioner and Master NLP Practitioner, with a particular interest in the connection between mindset, leadership and performance.
In her new role with Harcourts Corporate, Alessandra will work closely with offices and property management professionals across Victoria and South Australia, combining her industry experience and coaching approach to help businesses and people grow, develop and achieve meaningful results.
'A real focus on the people behind the business'
Karmen Costigan, Head of Property Management at Harcourts, said Alessandra's combination of industry knowledge and coaching experience would bring another valuable dimension to the national property management team.
"Alessandra understands property management from the inside, but she also brings a real focus on the people behind the business," Ms Costigan said. "That combination is important. Our Property Operations Managers are there to work alongside offices, understand what they need and help them navigate challenges and opportunities. Alessandra's experience in coaching and professional development will be a real strength in helping people build their capability and confidence."
For Harcourts Victoria CEO Adam Fiteni, Alessandra's appointment will provide another layer of practical support for offices and their property management teams.
"Property management is a demanding part of the real estate business, and the right support can make a significant difference to the way teams operate and develop," Mr Fiteni said. "Alessandra brings a great deal of experience, but importantly, she understands the realities of working with people and businesses. We're looking forward to having her alongside our Victorian offices and helping them continue to build strong, sustainable property management businesses."
Harcourts South Australia CEO Heather Edwards said Alessandra's coaching background would complement the strong relationships already established across the South Australian network.
"What I like about Alessandra's approach is that she is genuinely interested in helping people grow," Ms Edwards said. "She brings the experience to understand the property management side of the business, but also the ability to work with people, ask the right questions and help them find their own path forward. That will be incredibly valuable for our teams across South Australia."
'I still love it'
Alessandra said the opportunity to combine her experience in property management with her passion for coaching and development was a natural next step.
"I've spent 15 years in real estate and built my career in property management, and I still love it," Alessandra said. "For me, great property management starts with mindset and connection. I'm excited to bring that experience into a corporate role where I can work with offices and teams at a broader level, help people build their confidence and capability, and support them to perform at their best."
"Harcourts has a strong reputation, a great network and a people-first approach that really aligns with how I lead. I'm looking forward to contributing to the continued development of property operations and helping teams deliver great outcomes for their clients and businesses."
Alessandra's appointment adds to Harcourts' focus on providing practical, people-focused support to its property management network, with the role spanning both operational development and professional growth.
