Harcourts Adelaide Hills Team Laces Up to Support Furever Farm at the 2026 Brooks Adelaide Marathon

On Sunday the 3rd of May 2026, the team at Harcourts Adelaide Hills will be swapping open inspections for running shoes, taking on the Brooks Adelaide Marathon Festival. The goal? To raise much-needed funds for Furever Farm, a local rural animal sanctuary, through the Harcourts Foundation.

The Harcourts running squad—comprising Sam Oborn, Georgia Shorland, Lucca Ulhmann, Amelia Banks, Matt Adams, and Annabel Dibbens, alongside friends and family Riley Skinner, Matt Gosling, and Stephanie Harper—is taking on the challenge to support a cause very close to their hearts.

Furever Farm is a safe haven in South Australia for abused, neglected, and orphaned farm animals. From a single orphaned lamb and a few ex-bobby calves saved from the meat truck, the sanctuary has grown into a loving home for over 150 animals, including sheep, goats, ex-racing horses, ducks, chickens, and pigs. They rely entirely on donations and the hard work of volunteers to provide specialist care and advocacy for these vulnerable animals.

"We’re certainly not elite athletes—some of us are definitely more 'enthusiastic joggers'—but tackling a few blisters is the absolute least we can do to help these incredible animals," shared Amelia Banks and Annabel Dibbens from Harcourts Adelaide Hills.

"Knowing that every step we take helps feed and care for animals that have had a really tough start to life makes all the training runs completely worth it. We just want to give back to a local community that does so much good."

The fundraising initiative is being facilitated through the Harcourts Foundation, ensuring that every single penny raised goes directly to Furever Farm.

Pauline Smith, Head of the Harcourts Foundation, commended the team's grassroots effort: "It’s genuinely inspiring to see our people putting themselves out there, quite literally pounding the pavement, for a cause they believe in. Organised by the South Australian Road Runners Club (SARRC), the Brooks Adelaide Marathon is South Australia’s biggest running celebration. The flat, scenic, AIMS-certified course will see over 3,000 participants of all ages and abilities taking in Adelaide's stunning cityscapes across various distances.
