A Home for All Foundation’s A Night Without Home campaign returns to rally the property industry to tackle homelessness and housing insecurity

A Home for All Foundation's flagship fundraising campaign is returning for its second year, inviting  the property industry to spend a night without the comfort of home this October.

The campaign invites real estate professionals and businesses across the country to participate in  one of numerous ways, such as spending the night couch surfing or sleeping in a car, fundraising for  the cause, or making a donation. Supporting the goal to raise $1 million in 2026, participants are encouraged to unite on Thursday 8 October ahead of World Homelessness Day, or anytime  throughout October.

The 2025 A Night Without Home campaign raised more than $1 million, with funds distributed to four organisations supporting people experiencing homelessness due to domestic and family  violence – Women's Community Shelters, Friends with Dignity, Justice Connect, and Women’s  Safety Services of Central Australia.

CEO of Women’s Community Shelters, Annabelle Daniel OAM, said the funding received from the  inaugural campaign is already making a tangible difference for women and children escaping  violence.

“With support from A Home for All Foundation, our plans are well underway to transform an  underused site into supported temporary accommodation, transitional homes and a community  hub for women and children leaving violence. Over the next 12 months, this project is expected to  help support more than 150 women, creating safer pathways out of crisis and helping more families  rebuild with dignity, stability and hope.”

A Home for All Foundation Advisory Committee Chair and LJ Hooker CEO Christine Mikhael said  the campaign is a powerful opportunity for property professionals to come together on an issue  closely connected to the core purpose of the industry.

“The property industry is uniquely placed to help drive real change. We are in the business of  finding people homes, and everyone deserves a safe and secure place to sleep at night. After the  incredible success of year one, we’re aiming to make this year’s fundraising events even bigger.  Every sign-up, donation and conversation moves us one step closer to ending homelessness."

Registrations for A Night Without Home are now open. This year, every dollar raised will continue to help accelerate support for individuals at risk of or experiencing homelessness due to domestic  and family violence.

Established in 2025, A Home for All Foundation is led by the Australian property industry and backed  by REA Group. The Foundation’s aim is to drive awareness, raise funds and build long-term change  for people experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity in Australia.
