Harcourts TWG launches following the merger of its Melton and Werribee businesses, with ambitions to grow to seven offices across Melbourne’s west
Robert Krnjeta is returning to Werribee with a bigger vision for Melbourne’s west, following the launch of Harcourts TWG – The Western Group.
The new group brings together Harcourts’ Melton and Werribee businesses under one unified operation, creating a platform for growth across the western corridor and an ambition to ultimately expand to 7 offices.
For Robert, who has deep connections to Werribee, the move is about much more than bringing two businesses together.
“Coming back to Werribee means a lot to me,” Robert said.
“I’ve been given some great opportunities throughout my career, and I want to be able to give those same opportunities to other people. For me, it’s about creating a group where people can grow, support each other and have fun along the way.”
Robert said alignment, support and growth would be central to TWG’s culture as the group expands.
We want people to feel supported, to grow and to be part of something bigger than themselves. Ultimately, we want to build a group that people don’t want to leave.”
The merger provides TWG with greater alignment across marketing, systems and training, while creating the opportunity to bring other like-minded Harcourts businesses into the group as it grows.
The group is led by Robert, with the TWG team including Robert, his brother Petar Krnjeta, Rick O’Halloran, Reece Beckley, Martin Mintoff & Mark Mintoff
Robert said the opportunity to build a larger, connected group across Melbourne’s west was a key driver behind the launch.
“There's a real opportunity for Harcourts to grow its presence across the west, and we believe TWG can provide the platform to do that,” he said.
“We’re based in the west, we’re named for the west, and we want to build something that is genuinely connected to the communities we operate in.”
A significant move for Harcourts Victoria
Harcourts Victoria CEO Adam Fiteni said the launch of TWG represented an exciting next step for the network and backed Robert and his partners to build something significant.
“The launch of TWG is a significant step for Harcourts in Melbourne’s west. Robert knows this market exceptionally well, and his decision to return to Werribee, alongside Petar, Rick and Reece, creates a fantastic opportunity to build something with real scale and purpose.
“What I like about TWG is that the vision isn’t simply about opening more offices. It’s about bringing people together, creating opportunities and building a culture where people want to be part of the journey. Harcourts is absolutely behind Robert and the team as they pursue that vision.”
Adam said the combination of established businesses, experienced leadership and a shared focus on people positioned TWG strongly for its next phase.
For Robert, however, the return to Werribee is ultimately about people.
“This isn’t just about us,” he said.
“It’s about building a group where people are aligned, where there’s support, where people can grow, and where we can have a bit of fun doing it.”
With ambitions to grow to seven offices, Robert believes the launch of TWG marks the beginning of a new chapter for Harcourts in Melbourne’s west.
“We’re excited about what we can build together.”
