Harcourts Tasmania's Molly Gibbons named Young Corporate of the Year runner-up

Harcourts Tasmania Performance Coach Molly Gibbons has been named runner-up for Young Corporate of the Year at the Northern Young Professionals Network awards, recognising her work in training, leadership development and performance across the network.
The recognition comes as Harcourts Tasmania reports 47 of its 68 agents and teams performing ahead of the previous year, almost 68 per cent recording growth. The network holds an average market share of 25.25 per cent over the rolling 12 months, according to REIT data.
Coaching behind the results
Ms Gibbons' role spans training, leadership development and performance initiatives. That ranges from helping people take their first steps into real estate, to supporting established agents to win a listing or sell a difficult property, to developing leaders' ability to get the best from their teams.
"Strong performance starts with investing in people and giving them the support to keep developing," said Kate Littlejohn, co-CEO of Harcourts Tasmania.
"Molly plays an important role in that across our network, helping our agents and leaders build their skills, confidence and capability. Her contribution reflects the value we place on developing our people and creating the conditions for them to succeed."
Exam preparation reaches 175 students
Ms Gibbons took over the network's Property Representative Exam Preparation Workshop and grew participation through increased marketing and engagement. The program has now reached 175 students preparing for their licensing exams.
She said the most rewarding part of the job was hearing from agents after a result.
"My favourite part of coaching is getting those excited phone calls or text messages from agents telling me they've secured the listing we'd been practising for, or finally sold that tricky property. Hearing how proud they are of themselves and what they've achieved is easily the most rewarding part of what I do," she said.
The award also points to a part of agency performance that rarely shows up in sales figures: the coaching and leadership support that helps people build sustainable careers.
