Harcourts Rata & Co partner and sales specialist Mario Tucci has reached Harcourts Titanium status for a fifth consecutive financial year, and is the first consultant in Australia to hit the benchmark in 2026-27.
Titanium is reserved for the top 2 per cent of sales consultants and property managers across the Harcourts network in Australasia.
Mr Tucci has more than 20 years in the industry. He was named Victoria's number one real estate agent in 2025 and 2026, and has been the number one auction lister in Victoria and Australia for the last three years, according to Harcourts.
"Achieving Titanium for the fifth consecutive year is a great validation of that approach," Mr Tucci said, pointing to client relationships, consistent follow-up and continual improvement in how he works.
"Building strong client relationships, following up consistently, refining my negotiation skills to suit each individual client, and being efficient and responsive all play a big part in achieving results," he said.
Technology helps, but the work is still human
Mr Tucci said technology had taken over much of the administration, but not the parts of the job that decide results.
"Technology has made many of the administrative tasks behind the scenes more streamlined, but the most important parts of real estate are still very much human," he said.
"The phone calls, face-to-face meetings, negotiations and conversations with clients all take time, energy and a lot of mental effort. You can't shortcut building trust or achieving the best possible outcome for someone."
Harcourts Rata & Co executive director and auctioneer Tony Lombardi, who has worked alongside Mr Tucci for many years, said his willingness to adapt was central to his performance.
"Mario has consistently embraced change and approached every challenge with determination and an open mind. What helps Mario isn't simply his ability, but his relentless hunger to perform, improve and achieve more," Mr Lombardi said.
Fellow executive director and auctioneer Robert Ozzimo said long-term client relationships underpinned his results regardless of market conditions. "He puts his effort into building longstanding relationships with clients who trust him implicitly. This enables him to become a client's estate agent well before they need one," Mr Ozzimo said.
Harcourts Victoria chief executive Adam Fiteni said five consecutive years at Titanium showed the consistency needed to perform at the highest level over time.
"Mario's success reflects not only his results, but the work ethic, client focus and commitment to continual improvement behind them. He sets a strong example for others across our Victorian network," Mr Fiteni said.
