Stockdale & Leggo has announced a major fundraising initiative in support of Bridge Builders, a respected Victorian youth charity dedicated to helping young people facing some of the toughest challenges of their lives, including mental health struggles, domestic violence, self harm, isolation and social disconnection.

Bridge Builders has supported more than 60,000 young Victorians over the past twenty years, providing purpose, direction and a sense of belonging to those who often feel overlooked or without a clear pathway forward.

With youth crime rates rising and social pressures intensifying across the state, the need for preventative youth support has never been more critical.

To help drive the next phase of Bridge Builders’ impact, Stockdale & Leggo has set a bold fundraising target and an equally bold challenge.

The Challenge, 1,500km on Postie Bikes and a $75,000 Goal

In April, a team of riders from across the Stockdale & Leggo network will embark on a demanding 1,500 kilometre Postie Bike journey across Victoria. The five day challenge aims to raise both awareness and vital funding for the charity’s expanding programs.

This year’s riding team includes:

  • Charlotte Pascoe, CEO

  • Daniel Lamanna | Drysdale & Bellarine

  • Daniel Nestor | Ballarat

  • Daniel Burgdorf | Langwarrin

  • Kat McKay | Bendigo

  • Hugh Nairn | Marketing

  • Ben Thomas | Director Franchising

They will also be joined by supporters from Taskforce, including former V8 Supercar driver Jason Bright and Director Lucas Docking.

The ride is expected to be one of the most visible fundraising activations the network has undertaken, combining endurance, teamwork and community leadership.

Charlotte Pascoe said the challenge reflects the heart of the Stockdale & Leggo network.

This is about showing up for young people who need us. Bridge Builders has been changing lives for more than two decades, and if we can help them reach even more young Victorians, then every kilometre is worth it. When our network comes together with purpose, the impact is powerful.

Mobilising a Statewide Network

The initiative will roll out across offices, social media and community channels in the lead up to the ride, supported by coordinated content designed to raise awareness and drive donations.

Offices and teams across Victoria are encouraged to

  • Share campaign content

  • Invite clients and communities to donate

  • Champion the riders and their stories

  • Promote the Red Team fundraising page

Supporting the Next Generation

Stockdale & Leggo says the campaign is about more than fundraising, it is about sending a clear message to young Victorians that they are seen, supported and valued by their communities.

The network has acknowledged the collective power of its people and says every share and every contribution will help Bridge Builders continue its work for the next twenty years.
