LJ Hooker has undertaken a significant brand and operational upgrade across its trans-Tasman network, adopting Canva’s enterprise platform to modernise content delivery, enhance consistency, and bring creative execution directly into the hands of its franchisees.
In a strategic move to strengthen brand consistency and support its growing network, the group rolled out a centralised Brand Hub — giving franchisees across Australia and New Zealand access to thousands of professionally designed, on-brand templates spanning social media, print, video, and signage.
The shift is part of a broader investment in marketing infrastructure aimed at improving speed to market, reducing design inefficiencies, and ensuring brand alignment across all offices, regardless of size or location.
Since implementation, the impact has been immediate.
Social media posts that previously took over 40 minutes to create can now be produced in under five, with some offices reporting a 93 per cent reduction in time spent on content creation.
This acceleration has freed up staff resources and allowed local teams to focus more on campaign strategy, lead generation, and community engagement.
The centralised system has also delivered measurable cost efficiencies.
Several offices have brought their creative production in-house, reducing or eliminating the need for external agencies.
In some cases, franchisees have saved upwards of $70,000 annually — capital now redirected towards hyper-local marketing, digital innovation, and recruitment.
Crucially, Canva’s enterprise platform integrates seamlessly into LJ Hooker’s existing marketing technology stack, linking tools such as HubSpot, social scheduling platforms, and internal content workflows.
This has enabled smoother campaign rollouts, reduced duplication, and simplified training across the network.
As the platform becomes further embedded into LJ Hooker’s day-to-day operations, the group is now turning its attention to the next phase: automation.
Early adoption of Canva’s AI tools is already underway, with the network exploring opportunities to scale content output through automated copy generation, asset resizing, and brand governance features that preserve tone and visual identity across hundreds of offices.
For a network with deep roots and national brand equity, the integration of Canva Enterprise signals a deliberate shift towards agility, creative control, and future-focused marketing systems.
In doing so, LJ Hooker is setting a benchmark for how real estate networks can combine brand cohesion with local autonomy — and scale smarter.
