A new name is signalling a new chapter for one of Tasmania’s long-established locally owned real estate businesses, with Harcourts Ulverstone, Penguin and Devonport now operating as Harcourts Coastline.
Led by business owners Brad Reeves and Wendy Squibb, the business has expanded its footprint across Tasmania’s Northwest Coast, with a new Ulverstone office recently opened and its new Devonport office officially opening this week.
The rebrand reflects the broader coastline the business now services, stretching from Heybridge through to Hawley Beach, while retaining the same local team and community focus that has been central to the business for more than 15 years.
For Brad, the change is a natural reflection of how the business has evolved.
“As our team grows, our name needs to grow with us. The same people you trust, a bigger coast to call home.”
The new Harcourts Coastline identity brings together the business’s established presence in Ulverstone and Penguin with its expansion into Devonport and Shearwater, giving the team an opportunity to service a wider part of the Northwest Coast.
The new Devonport office, located at
47 Oldaker Street, officially opened this week, following the opening of the new Ulverstone office at
44 Reibey Street around a week and a half earlier.
For Wendy, the move into Devonport has particular significance.
"Devonport feels very much like coming home. It is a community I know incredibly well, and I am proud to continue serving it under the Harcourts Coastline banner.”
While the footprint and name have changed, the business remains focused on providing local sales, property management and leasing services through a team that knows the communities it serves.
The expansion has also been welcomed by Harcourts Tasmania, with CEO Kate Littlejohn saying Brad and Wendy had built a business with a strong commitment to people, clients and community.
“Brad and Wendy have built something truly special at Harcourts Ulverstone & Penguin, and their commitment to their people, their clients and their community is exactly what Harcourts stands for,” Ms Littlejohn said.
“This next chapter is a testament to their leadership and the strength of the business they have built. We’re excited to see Harcourts Coastline grow into Devonport and across the wider Northwest Coast.”
Harcourts Tasmania Co-CEO Tony Morrison said the expansion strengthened Harcourts’ presence across an important Tasmanian market.
“The Northwest Coast is an incredibly important market, and having a team of this calibre now servicing a wider area is fantastic news for the region,” Mr Morrison said.
“Brad and Wendy lead with integrity, and the results they consistently deliver speak for themselves. We are proud to have them as part of the Harcourts family.”
For Brad and Wendy, Harcourts Coastline represents more than a new name. It reflects the evolution of the business, its growing team and the communities it now has the opportunity to serve.
Same people. A bigger coast to call home.
